Sundis was founded in 1978 by Alain Dauchy. Based in the north of France, it specializes in the design, production and distribution of plastic products destined for storage of household items (boxes, trunks, bins, baskets, etc.).
Sundis maintains strong positions in the biggest European retail chains (food supermarkets, DIY stores and specialist stores). Mindful of environmental issues, Sundis makes 100% recyclable products and its production includes 50% of recycled materials.
The group is run by a trio of leaders: Fabrice Guyot, Stéphane Dauchy and Yann Dauchy (the latter being the founder’s two sons).

Context of the deal
In 2021, Axio arranged an MBO of the Sundis group alongside Fabrice Guyot, who has become the new chairman and shareholder of the new entity on the occasion of this transaction.
The founder’s two sons Stéphane and Yann Dauchy are also part of this new development stage for the family-owned group.
A veritable French industrial and commercial champion, Sundis wishes to pursue its successful growth trajectory, not least by consolidating its product lines and positions with the major national retail chains, but also by passing a milestone in its conquest of international markets thanks to an ambitious external growth strategy.
