An aggregator of energy efficiency certificates mandated by the State, ABOKINE (formerly VIA ENERGICA) is an intermediary between consumers carrying out home energy improvement works and the energy providers who are legally required to finance energy-saving works.
Introduced in 2006, energy efficiency certificates entitle homeowners to receive financial aid to reduce the cost of their works aimed at making their homes more energy-efficient. These aids, funded by energy providers according to the “polluter–payer” principle, are aggregated and controlled by State-approved intermediaries.
A partner of energy providers, ABOKINE deals with homeowners through a community of nearly 3,000 building industry professionals. It puts tools, in particular a web platform, at their disposal, thereby creating a veritable interface between the professional, the homeowner and ABOKINE.
